There should be no point you get to in life where you will not be able to turn back from a wrong decision or route you have been on, no matter how long or how far you may have gone.
This is not the same as giving up on your dream or project because of a challenge you’re facing. In the case of a dream, you are expected to face the challenge in front of you not giving up on your project or dream. Be undaunted by individuals around you no matter who they are.
However, in the journey of life, you should be able to make necessary adjustments, especially whenever you realize you are in error or you have done something wrong. It is a display of accountability. Watching things and playing along will keep you in a place of weakness and adverse vulnerability.
Take ownership of your actions and decisions. Plan and do the needful the moment you realize that you made a mistake. This is an act of righting your wrong. This has to be done without hurting others. You must be conscious of the impact and effect your decisions has on people around and the resultant effect of your adjustment on people.
Never get to that point where you say, “no remedy”. There is always a way out of every situation and a technique to fix everything.
You cannot afford to give up and decide to leave it just like that. It would amount to weakness, wickedness and lack of foresight on your own part.
Whether it has a direct implication on you or not, you must take responsibility for your actions and inactions to right your wrongs without hurting more people or generations unknown.
